Central Park today

It was supposed to rain today, but when we woke up this morning, it was clear as a whistle outside, and warming up! Turned out to be a gorgeous day, so we went to Central Park today.

There are a million things to do, and you could seriously spend a whole day touring all over the park, going to the zoo there, etc. We decided to just walk around and see the sites as opposed to hitting the zoo and doing other activities that are there. It was really weird seeing an ice skating rink in the middle of a park out on a sunny, warm day.

Each of these pictures doesn't really have a story, so I'll just post them:






The boys loved climbing the many rocks within Central Park...





This is, of course, the John Lennon memorial in Strawberry Fields, a 2+ acre conservatory in memory of Lennon.



Clearly not Central Park time, but last night the boys built a fort with a fort building kit that Grandma Sharon sent us. This was a pretty great pic:
